The Effects of Exercise
Exercise can have a positive effect on the mind, body, and soul. The benefits of regular exercise go far beyond losing weight, exercise can do you good in more ways than you think. Take your heart for instance, it is a muscle and like all muscles it needs regular exercise in order for it to pump blood around your body efficiently. My doctor informs me that people who have a physically active lifestyle are at half the risk of heart disease than those who do not. Regular exercise can help lower your blood pressure, and your cholesterol levels, as well as reducing the risks of stroke, diabetes, osteoporosis, and many types of cancer. It can also improve your digestion and posture, and help with trouble sleeping. It goes without saying that regular exercise two to three times a week can help burn calories, which makes you loose weight. It can also helps you to maintain your ideal weight, you do not have to be overweight to exercise: as exercise improves overall fitness, and reduces your risk of many major diseases. Regular physical activity can greatly improve ones life expectancy, it can also give you a better quality of life in your later years: by helping you stay active and socially balanced.
